“Anime fans’ love goes beyond just the content because it’s a lifestyle, and music is an integral part of that anime fandom,” says Crunchyroll’s COO Gita Rebbapragada. “Music drives anime narratives, sets the tone with hit themes that bookend episodes of fan-favorite series, and is often born from a creator’s unyielding love for the medium. This year, we are going to San Diego Comic-Con with a tremendous festival experience to celebrate music across the anime spectrum.”
Crunchyroll’s Anime Fanfest will take place from July 25 through July 26 starting at 1 PM both days. Attendance is first-come first-serve and entry will be blocked once all seats are taken.
