Bearded Theory has bolstered its 2026 bill with a massive second wave of artists, confirming Mercury Prize nominees Everything Everything and post-punk icons The Horrors for the May Bank Holiday weekend. Taking over the scenic Catton Park from 20–24 May, the independent festival continues to champion its community-driven roots with an eclectic mix that now includes The Twilight Sad, acid-house pioneer A Guy Called Gerald, and underground legend Jon Spencer. Cult-classic author Irvine Welsh is also set to appear, joining a roster that spans psychedelic prog, afro-psychedelic pop, and rising indie stars like Swim School.
Beyond the music, the festival is expanding its famous “festi-holiday” amenities. New for 2026 is The Junkyard, a boutique area featuring luxury retro Airstream trailers for those seeking a slice of Americana with private showers and plush beds. Families can also take advantage of the renowned Festival School, which has added a new pre-school provision for children aged 0–4. Between sets at the eight unique stages, ranging from the high-energy Big Ed dance tent to the intimate, tree-canopied Woodland stage, attendees can retreat to the EARTH wellness area for pottery workshops or a session in the wood-fired Sauna Box.
