Following a massive 2025 that saw them transition from club favourites to arena-sized headliners, Wunderhorse have announced three high-profile dates for August 2026. The quartet will kick things off in Ireland with back-to-back shows at Belfast’s Custom House Square and Cork’s City Hall, before heading to Sheffield to headline the prestigious Rock n Roll Circus. The Sheffield date is set to be a highlight of the summer, with the band topping a formidable bill that features Baxter Dury, Mercury Prize winners English Teacher, and the high-energy outfit Fat Dog.
The announcement comes after a period of relative quiet for Jacob Slater and company, who stepped back from the limelight following an extensive tour of Australia and New Zealand. Since their 2024 album Midas, recorded at the legendary Pachyderm Studio, rocketed them into the upper echelons of British guitar music, the band has picked up accolades, including The Group Award at the 2025 Rolling Stone UK Awards. These upcoming shows mark their first major live return since their monumental sets at Glastonbury and Alexandra Palace, signalling that one of the UK’s most vital rock acts is ready to reclaim its throne.
