Post Malone, Slash, Chad Smith and Duff McKagan performed ‘War Pigs’ to honour the life and legacy of Ozzy Osbourne at the Grammys this weekend – check it out below.
At last night’s (February 1) ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, special tribute performances were held for late artists, including D’Angelo, Roberta Flack, and the beloved Black Sabbath frontman.
In honour of late heavy metal pioneer, Post Malone joined forces with Guns N’ Roses members Slash and McKagan and the Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ drummer Smith for a rendition of the ‘Paranoid’ track.
They were also joined on stage by renowned producer Andrew Watt, who worked with the Prince of Darkness on his last two solo albums: 2020’s ‘Ordinary Man’ and 2022’s ‘Patient Number 9’.
Footage from the evening showed Osbourne’s widow, Sharon, watching from the audience alongside their children Kelly and Jack, who were visibly emotional and moved to tears as Malone sang the anthemic anti-war protest song.
