Critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer Joji shares his latest full-length album, Piss In The Wind, via Palace Creek. Alongside the release, Joji has announced a music video for “Last of a Dying Breed” premiering on Monday, February 9th.
Piss In The Wind bridges Joji’s sonic
past and present, balancing melancholic, brooding writing with gritty yet
atmospheric production. An extensive twenty-one song tracklist, vivid creative
direction, and music videos that echo his YouTube days come together to create
a fully realized record that lets Joji himself stay out of frame. The project
is amplified by collaborations with Giveon, 4batz, Yeat,
and Don Toliver.
In the lead up to Piss In The Wind, Joji shared
a series of highly dynamic, musically diverse singles demonstrating the breadth
of sound fans can come to expect from him; these included “LOVE
YOU LESS,” “Past Won’t Leave My Bed,” “If
It Only Gets Better,” "PIXELATED KISSES" Yeat
remix HERE).
“PIXELATED KISSES,” notably ended a multi-year musical
hiatus for Joji. It generated tens of millions of global streams within hours
of its release, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and later earned
placements on the Billboard Top 200 and Pop charts. The song followed
2022’s SMITHEREENS, which featured the RIAA 2x
Platinum, #1 Spotify Global 50 hit “Glimpse of Us.”
