A souvenir ticket from Cruz Beckham‘s recent show in Cardiff incorrectly claims that the city is in England.
The singer-songwriter – son of David and Victoria Beckham – performed at the Clwb Ifor Bach venue in the Welsh capital last Friday (February 27), as part of his current debut UK and European headline tour.
Beckham is performing onstage alongside his band The Breakers, featuring Dan Ewins, Telmo Seixas and Dario Scotti, who were billed on the souvenir ticket. The vintage-looking pass is described as a “collector’s item” to commemorate the ‘For Your Love’ tour.
However, a glaring error was printed on the ticket underneath the band’s name. “Live At Clwb Ifor Bach. Cardiff, England | UK,” it read.
Speaking to BBC News, technology and graphic design teacher Jason Erickson – who was in the audience in Cardiff – said that the misprint was perhaps “one of those oversights”. He added: “But you would expect them to pick something like that [up]… being the only Welsh gig.
“You kind of think, let’s make sure we get that on the money but, you know, I’m a proud Welshman but it hasn’t really upset me.”
