Released earlier this year, MIO: Memories In Orbit is a 2D platformer that sees gamers take control of android Mio and explore an enormous technological ark overgrown with machines gone rogue known as The Vessel. “Uncover its secrets, enhance Mio’s abilities, and save the spaceship and its residents from oblivion,” reads the official description of the game.

The side-scrolling game features a gorgeous soundtrack from Nicolas Gueguen, which was made available to stream in January. “The soundtrack of Memories In Orbit mirrors the duality of the Vessel where machines and biological creatures meet, whether you’re taking in the sights or fighting for your life,” explained a statement from publishers Focus Entertainment. “Composed by Nicolas Gueguen, this 75-track album blends ambient melodies, layered synths, and live-recorded choir voices to capture the haunting atmosphere of the Vessel.”

Now a vinyl release has been confirmed. Featuring all 75 tracks across two double clear haze marbled vinyl LPs, the MIO: Memories In Orbit vinyl is set to launch in September but is available to pre-order now via Kid Katana Records. “Mirroring the poetic and futuristic aesthetics of the game, this soundtrack combines ambient melodies, synthwave tones, groovy rhythms and live recorded choir voices, all created by Nicolas Gueguen. The product is a one of its kind, remarkably crafted gatefold with exclusive art from the dev team, in the typical style of the game,” they explain.
