You can tell Phoenix’s Silverface Twin are headed for anthemic status from the word go. In saying that Silverface Twin don’t give too much notice of intention about how ‘Fix Your Hearts or Die’ was about to go supernova. That they’ve balanced rock strut with plenty of pop nuance tells us everything about their ambition and the talent they have to deploy all that sky scanning theatre. Absolutely breathless stuff and I am hearing the makings of a summer festival headliner here as a result. KH
