Such gentle stirrings, obvious from the start that we were in gentle surroundings with the acoustic sways setting the tone for ‘Benny of the Basement’. Zoë Coz adds the vocal allure, a tale we can all relate to and read in a manner that shows an aptitude for tenderness and friendship of the kind we all strive for. The sweetness is palpable, heartbreak could well be right around the corner but for now things are on the slow up. Beautiful. KH
