A moniker that would have thinking this act are capable of a big sound and ‘Unreal’ does as much. No doubting that Cathedral Bells (Matthew Messore and friends) have a nineties sound, hitting dreampop touch-points aplenty with a hint of shoegaze in there too. So we have an off-kilter persuasion which shows up the multitude of melodies in even great detail. Yep this had me right back in the late last century, a surround sound full of jangle and harmony.
